What ѯ means
It represents the consonant cluster ks.
In Church Slavonic, ksi gave Greek-derived words and names a single letter for ks. When an edition modernizes the spelling, it may write the same cluster as кс.
Why does ѯ look different in my font?
Its shape depends on the typeface.
ѯ is a text character, so your font draws it. Church Slavonic fonts can show historical letterforms differently from general Cyrillic fonts; if it appears as a missing-glyph box, the font lacks support.
