What ѻ means
It is broad O, not the separate Cyrillic omega.
Called broad O or broad On, ѻ is a wide form of the Cyrillic letter On, related to Greek omicron. Scattered early examples include the Gnezdovo inscription and a word beginning in the Suprasliensis manuscript. It became more common in the 12th–14th centuries, especially at word beginnings and after vowels.
Its position could mark a word beginning or the start of a new root; earlier manuscripts used it less consistently. South Slavic book traditions and Russian poluustav writing regularized its placement from the 15th century. A Novgorod private letter dated 1360–1380 also contains it.
Today, ѻ signals historical or Church Slavonic spelling; elsewhere it looks deliberately archaic.
The name “round omega” does not mean this is the separate letter ѡ.
