What 𓃳 means
It writes the place-name as one sign.
The 16th Upper Egyptian nome was an administrative district named for the scimitar oryx. Inscriptions on vessels from King Djoser’s pyramid complex mention it in the early Old Kingdom. Tombs at Beni Hasan preserve later records of the district from the Middle Kingdom; in the Second Intermediate Period, it was absorbed into the 15th Upper Egyptian nome. Fonts may draw 𓃳 differently or show a missing-glyph box.
