What 𐔅 means
It's d begun with an n-like hum. Say n briefly, then release into d—the “nd” sound written in Latin letters.
Created around 1750 to write Albanian, Elbasan appears in its 1761 Gospel translation for Orthodox Christians. Albanian was also written in Greek, Arabic, and Latin scripts. At a 1908 congress on Albanian spelling, delegates chose Latin as standard. Most Elbasan letters were new; some may reflect Greek or Cyrillic.
