What 𐍇 means
It represents Greek chi in borrowed Gothic words.
In Gothic Xristus (“Christ”), 𐍇 begins the word and represents Greek chi (χ; uppercase Χ). Wulfila and fellow translators developed the Gothic alphabet for a fourth-century Bible translation. Surviving Gothic documents date from the fifth and early sixth centuries. Its use fell sharply by the mid-sixth century. In the early ninth century, scholars in Charlemagne’s era copied Gothic letter lists and pronunciation notes, likely to help readers learn the script.

1Questions people ask
1Why does 𐍇 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Gothic block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
