What 𐘄 means
No secure ancient reading is known.
Linear A was probably developed locally on Crete, with influence from writing traditions farther east. Early evidence clusters at Phaistos in the First Palace period, when Crete's first palace complexes were active (19th–18th centuries BCE). Palace accounts tracked goods; stone tables used for offerings and burial objects show other contexts.
Linear B later adapted many Linear A signs to write Mycenaean Greek, an ancient form of Greek. That comparison cannot settle 𐘄's reading. Fonts with Linear A support may draw its visible form differently.
A scholarly sign from an undeciphered script; its exact value is unknown.
Don't treat a Linear B comparison as 𐘄's confirmed reading.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𐘄 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Linear A block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
