What 𐧶 means
One twelfth in Meroitic Cursive.
From around the second century BCE to the fourth century CE, the Meroitic language of Kush had two scripts. As Egyptian writing declined farther south, cursive based on Demotic, an Egyptian cursive script, served general use; hieroglyphs based on Egyptian models marked royal monuments and temples. The forms are related, but not interchangeable.
After the fourth century CE, the Meroitic language gradually gave way to Nubian. By the sixth century, Coptic script had superseded the Meroitic scripts, borrowing three signs from Meroitic Cursive to write Nubian.
