What 𐌏 means
It is an alphabetic O, not a fixed message. “Old Italic” groups ancient scripts used in Italy. Etruscan lacked the O vowel and usually omitted it; nearby traditions kept or adapted the letter.
Its history is a chain, not one invention
Greek settlers from Euboea, a Greek island, brought Greek writing to Italy in the 8th century BCE. Etruscan writing appears about 700 BCE; an early Etruscan abecedarium (alphabet list) dates about 650 BCE. Local traditions included Faliscan, Latin, Oscan, Umbrian, and Venetic. Inscriptions recorded ownership and trade, gifts, dedications, burials, and religious scenes.

1Why does 𐌏 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Old Italic block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
