What 𐖥 means
It writes the Albanian vowel i. In Vithkuqi it is lowercase; Latin-script Albanian uses a separate character, i, for the same vowel.
Why was Vithkuqi created?
Veqilharxhi wanted one shared script for Albanian. He began devising it around 1824–25; his spelling primer appeared in 1844 and expanded in 1845. Its new shapes avoided the religious associations of Greek, Latin, and Arabic scripts.
Vithkuqi did not become standard: in 1908, the Congress of Manastir, a meeting on Albanian spelling, agreed on a common alphabet based on Latin letters.

Questions people ask
1Is Vithkuqi related to Armenian?
The resemblance is visual; it does not prove borrowing. Some Vithkuqi letters resemble handwritten Armenian forms, but similar shapes alone do not establish that one script derives from the other.
