What 𔐣 means
No: it labels the sign, not a whole inscription.
Laroche’s catalogue calls the sign A034. Anatolian hieroglyphs mix word signs and syllable signs, so “post” cannot settle its reading in context. “Hittite hieroglyphs” is an older name; most surviving texts are Luwian, a language of Anatolia.
The script’s earliest surviving evidence is on Hattusha seals; Hittites also carved it on monuments. Later Neo-Hittite rulers left dedications on gates and steles, upright inscribed stones. Letters and accounts survive on lead strips. It developed alongside Hittite cuneiform, made of wedge-shaped marks. Urartian glosses and Hurrian god names show use across languages; a proposed link to Cretan scripts remains unproven.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𔐣 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
