What ⌌ means
It marks one corner of the trim area. ⌌ belongs to a four-corner crop-mark set.
Crop marks set the trim boundary. Adobe InDesign's 2026 guidance places them outside all four page corners, leaving bleed—the extra image or color beyond the final edge—to be cut away.
The other three corners complete the set
⌍, ⌎, and ⌏ mark the matching bottom-left, top-right, and top-left corners.
Styles differ by workflow. Canon's 2022 manual documents single, inside-corner, and Japanese double crop marks for trim and bleed.
