What ⡾ means
It marks a dot pattern; the Braille code supplies its reading. Unicode preserves the pattern; language, code and context decide whether it means a letter, syllable, abbreviation or word.
Braille is writing read by touch. Louis Braille adapted a twelve-dot military night-writing code he encountered in 1821, then published his system in 1829. Later Braille forms use six or eight dots.
Online, image tools map pixel groups to Unicode Braille art. Changed spacing or line wrapping can break it.
