What ⣪ means
No single reading comes with the pattern. Unicode records the dots; a Braille code assigns a value.
Eight-dot Braille adds dots 7 and 8 below the traditional six-dot cell.
How did Braille's dot system develop?
Braille's link to Charles Barbier's tactile dot writing is real. The tale that Barbier invented it for soldiers to communicate at night spread in 1950s biographies. His 1815 publication proposed dot writing for blind readers. Louis Braille adapted the approach into six-dot cells by 1824 and published his system in 1829.

Questions people ask
1Why does ⣪ show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
