What ⡜ means
No universal letter reading applies. Braille dots 3457 include dot 7, making ⡜ an eight-dot cell. Unicode preserves the pattern; the language and Braille code determine its reading.
Charles Barbier’s raised-dot “night writing,” made for silent military messages, was published in 1815. Louis Braille reshaped the idea into a compact six-dot cell readable with one fingertip; his 1829 publication covered spelling, punctuation, music and other notation.

Questions people ask
1Why does ⡜ look different in different fonts?
Yes. Fonts and text engines can vary its size and dot spacing; Unicode preserves the dot pattern, not one exact drawing.
