What 𐊬 means
It is a letter in the Carian alphabet.
Carian was an ancient language of Caria, in what is now Türkiye; texts also survive in Egypt. The oldest reported text, dated to the seventh century BCE, is on an image of Isis, an Egyptian goddess, bearing ruler Psamtik I’s name.
Other texts include grave inscriptions, graffiti and decrees. Inscriptions setting Carian alongside Greek or Egyptian writing helped scholars decipher the script; similar Greek letters can have different sounds, and D2’s exact sound remains uncertain.

Questions people ask
1Will Carian text display right to left automatically?
No. Unicode assigns Carian left-to-right directionality. Ancient Carian inscriptions in Egypt commonly ran right to left. To reproduce that layout, set the paragraph direction to right-to-left.
