What 𒊄 means
𒊄 carries the conventional value we₂. PIE describes its construction: the E sign is written inside PI. we₂ is a scholarly transliteration—a Latin-letter spelling of the reading, not a translation. Language and surrounding text determine the sign's contribution.
Cuneiform writing began in the late fourth millennium BCE, first using signs mainly for words and later also for syllables. The Hittite sign lexicon lists this form as HZL 322; another sign-list reference is SLLHA 383n5(v).
Specialist in cuneiform study; without context, the sign's reading is hard to infer.
PIE labels a graphic construction; it does not tell you to calculate π times e.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𒊄 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Cuneiform block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.

𒊄\12284Why is 𒊄 a box on my screen?
fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
