What ⴃ means
ⴃ is Georgian don in the Nuskhuri script.
It represents the consonant sound d. Nuskhuri is one of three historical Georgian scripts.
Surviving Asomtavruli inscriptions include Bir el-Qutt (430 CE) and Bolnisi Sioni (493–494 CE). Nuskhuri served manuscripts and church writing; Mkhedruli became everyday Georgian.
As of 2026, ⴃ reads as heritage or church lettering; Mkhedruli is used for everyday Georgian.

Questions people ask
1Why does ⴃ show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
