What 𐃩 means
It marks a stirrup jar, not every kind of vessel. Scholarly transcriptions call it B210 or 210 VAS. In a form such as 210+KA, the ideogram pairs with the phonetic sign KA to identify the jar term ka-ra-re-we.
Knossos on Crete preserves the earliest known Linear B archive, relatively dated to Late Minoan II–IIIA1. A mainland tablet from Iklaina is dated ca. 1450–1400 BCE. Those archive dates place the script in the Late Bronze Age; they do not establish when B210 itself first appeared. Linear B was used to write Mycenaean Greek, while ideograms such as B210 labeled goods in palace accounts. The script is related to the earlier Linear A.
