What 𐁍 means
A syllable sign, not a numeral. On palace tablets it spelled sounds; real numbers used separate stroke-signs. The script came from older Linear A and wrote Mycenaean Greek.
It ran palace paperwork — clay lists of goods, people and livestock — attested at Knossos around c. 1450 BCE. Undeciphered signs got word-labels: 𐁍 drew 'TWO', neighbor B086 'TWE'.
