What 𐼡 means
It represents five in Old Sogdian.
Old Sogdian writing recorded the Sogdian language in letters, inscriptions, and on coins and vessels. The Ancient Letters, found at Dunhuang, are the oldest surviving manuscripts and are tentatively dated to 312–313 CE. Old Sogdian derives from Aramaic writing. The later Sogdian script developed from it and, in turn, gave rise to Old Uyghur and Mongolian scripts.
The number system was additive and read right to left. Scribes built small numbers, including five, by repeating the sign for one. This Unicode character gives five a one-character form, not a universal manuscript spelling.
A historical numeral for reading Old Sogdian texts.
