What 🗐 means
Use a Unicode entry for the character itself.
In Word, type 1F5D0 and press Alt+X. In HTML, use 🗐; CSS accepts \1F5D0, and modern JavaScript accepts \u{1F5D0}.
The Wingdings route depends on the font: with Wingdings selected, the digit 4 displays as 🗐. Change fonts and the text remains 4.
What does the pages symbol mean?
It marks a stack of pages or a multi-page document.
In files and office software, it points to a document with several pages.
Charles Bigelow and Kris Holmes designed Lucida Icons, Arrows, and Stars in 1990–1991 as companions to Lucida text. Microsoft reorganized those sets and released them as Wingdings in 1992. Wingdings maps the digit 4 to this picture, so another font reveals a numeral. In 2014, Unicode gave the picture its own character, independent of that font mapping.
Office-like and neutral: it marks a document, not a mood.
Wingdings' `4` draws this icon only while that font is selected.
