What ⌠ means
Use \inttop with unicode-math and a Unicode math font. A setup checked on 2026-09-04 pairs unicode-math with XITS Math. The font must contain this glyph; default LaTeX fonts may not, so a blank or boxed result can be a font issue.
Is ⌠ a complete integral sign?
No; ⌠ is only the upper piece. In older digital mathematical typesetting, ⌠ could pair with , the lower piece, to build a taller integral mark. An older printer math character set, the PCL/PS Math Symbol Set, lists both pieces beside complete . For ordinary notation, is the whole sign; the split pieces matter when matching a legacy or specialized layout.

1Why does ⌠ show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
