What ⊪ means
The author’s notation defines what ⊪ asserts. In formal logic, a turnstile relation can connect assumptions—the statements taken as given—to a conclusion. In many proof systems, marks derivability: a proof can produce the conclusion from the assumptions. ⊪ has three vertical bars, but the shape alone does not say whether an author assigns it that role or another one. Look for its local definition near the formula.
