What 𐖵 means
It writes the t sound in Vithkuqi words. The Vithkuqi t belongs to a separate alphabet made for Albanian, not a decorative form of the Latin t. Ordinary modern Albanian is written with Latin letters.
Why was the Vithkuqi alphabet created?
It gave Albanian a shared alphabet not tied to one religion. Veqilharxhi’s 1844 spelling primer, a small book teaching Albanian reading and writing, is the first known printed example; an expanded edition followed in 1845.
Vithkuqi belongs to Albanian language-and-nation building of that period, not an unbroken ancient script tradition. Veqilharxhi died soon after the second edition, and printing special type was costly, so the alphabet did not become standard; Latin letters later became standard for Albanian.
Elbasan and Todhri are other historical Albanian alphabet projects that developed in parallel with Vithkuqi; neither is its ancestor.
Historical-script and specialist use: it signals interest in Albanian writing history, not ordinary modern Albanian spelling.
Keep it within Vithkuqi writing; it does not belong in ordinary modern Albanian spelling.
