What 𐄖 means
It is the Aegean numeral for seventy.
The Aegean number 70 belongs to a system of whole-number signs used in Bronze Age records around the Aegean Sea. Its use is attested with Linear A by Middle Minoan IIA, a period of Minoan history, by the end of the nineteenth century BCE. Such signs helped record goods, measures, and totals.
As of 2026, Linear A remains undeciphered, but its numeral values can be recognized from repeated accounting patterns. Linear B, the script used for Mycenaean Greek, retained Aegean number signs. Cretan Hieroglyphic has related ways to record numbers and fractions, and later Cypriot scripts show contact with Aegean writing traditions.

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
