What ⌹ means
It handles matrix inverse and matrix division. A matrix is a grid of numbers. Before one matrix, ⌹B returns its inverse, used to undo the matrix’s effect in multiplication. Between two arguments, A⌹B performs matrix division, used to solve equation systems or find a best-fit when no exact solution exists. Its position changes the operation; it is not ordinary ÷.
The mathematical notation behind APL began in Kenneth Iverson’s work in 1957; by 1966, it had become the APL programming language, where symbols such as ⌹ could be executed as operations.
This is specialist APL notation, not a general-purpose division mark.
For ordinary elementwise division in APL, use ; ⌹ means matrix inverse or matrix division.

1Why does ⌹ show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
