What 𐠯 means
It writes the syllable “ti” within a word.
A Cypriot syllabogram represents one spoken syllable. This one contributes “ti” to a word; neighboring signs spell the rest, and separators can mark word boundaries.
Alone, it works as a quoted character or a sample of the script.
How did the Cypriot syllabary change?
It grew from Cypro-Minoan and later served Greek.
An inscription dated to the 11th-century BCE on a bronze roasting spit from Palaepaphos-Skales in Cyprus may be an early example. Scholars disagree whether its signs are Cypriot or still Cypro-Minoan, an earlier script from Cyprus.
The later syllabary grew from Cypro-Minoan and served Arcado-Cypriot, a dialect of Greek, as well as some regional texts not understood as Greek, conventionally called Eteocypriot. In the Hellenistic period, inscriptions sometimes set it beside Greek-alphabet text; the alphabet eventually displaced it. Cypriot writing usually ran right to left, so in mixed Latin text 𐠯 may appear on an unexpected side of neighboring words. The sign kept its syllabic value as the writing system and languages around it changed.
Archival, scholarly, or language-learning in tone; it is not casual conversational shorthand.
It represents a whole syllable, so it cannot stand in for the single Latin letter T.

1Will 𐠯 display on every device?
No. The font and text renderer must support the Cypriot Syllabary block; a box-shaped placeholder means that display lacks the needed coverage.
