What 𞁙 means
It marks a sound detail in a Cyrillic transcription.
In a 1905 study of Serbian dialects, linguist Aleksandar Belić used it for ь with an i-like vowel quality; ь served as a vowel sign.
Older Cyrillic transcription used raised and lowered letters for stronger and weaker vowel values. Later, subscripts also marked sound categories; superscripts recorded finer pronunciation detail.
