What 𝌅 means
They form two lines, each representing the human element.
Read the shape as two horizontal lines with two gaps in each, rather than six separate symbols. “Digram” simply means a diagram made of two lines. The short pieces may look like squares or bars, depending on the font.
The Tai Xuan Jing is a Chinese divination book completed around 2 BCE. It builds on the Yijing, or Book of Changes, whose diagrams use solid and broken lines. Tai Xuan uses three line types, associated with heaven, earth and humanity. Arranging these in four-line diagrams gives 81 possible combinations; 𝌅 is a two-line figure within this system.
Why is it called Earth if it means human?
The English names confused earth and human.
Unicode’s naming documentation identifies incorrect English translations in this group and gives this character the Chinese alias ren ren, meaning “human, human.” That explains its two human lines more clearly than the official label. It is not a general-purpose sign for soil, the planet or nature.
A specialist diagram from a Chinese divination tradition. In an ordinary message, explain the reference rather than expecting the shape to speak for itself.

1Why do I see an empty box instead?
Your font may lack this character. A font that supports Tai Xuan Jing symbols can display it. One missing-character box is different from the six filled pieces that make up the actual design.
