What 빴 means
No standalone meaning. 바빴어 and 바빴다 are past forms of 바쁘다 (“to be busy”); the meaning comes from each complete word, not from 빴 alone.
King Sejong created Hangul in 1443 as a simpler way to write Korean, then commonly written with Chinese characters. A 1446 guide, Hunminjeongeum, explained its purpose and design. Hangul letters combine into syllable blocks; 빴 combines ㅃ, ㅏ, and ㅆ.

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
