What 빝 means
ㅂ, ㅣ and ㅌ make one block.
ㅂ starts the syllable, ㅣ is its vowel, and ㅌ ends it. These building-block letters are called jamo.
Hangul was devised in 1443 to make Korean easier to write than with borrowed Chinese characters. The guide Hunminjeongeum explained the script's sounds and design in 1446; these dates mark Hangul's creation and introduction, not the first use of this particular block.
