hangul syllable bop

Hangul syllable bop

4367/11172

봎 is a Korean Hangul syllable block built from ㅂ, ㅗ and ㅍ; the syllable’s intended meaning in a message depends on context. Hangul was devised at King Sejong’s court in 1443–1444 and introduced in the 1446 book Hunminjeongeum as a more accessible way to write Korean speech than the Chinese characters used in Korean, called Hanja.
