What 붿 means
It is one Hangul syllable, read as part of a Korean word.
In Hangul, a starting consonant, a vowel, and sometimes an ending consonant are arranged into one written syllable block. 붿 is one such block; the Unicode name gives its Latin-letter spelling as “bwed.” Its meaning comes from the Korean word that contains it, so the surrounding text supplies the rest.
A creation notice for Hangul dates to 1443; Hunminjeongeum, a book explaining the script, was published in 1446. Hangul offered a learnable way to write Korean when Chinese characters did not fit the language well.
