What 븾 means
It names a syllable, not a translation by itself.
Hangul builds each block from jamo, the letters for consonants and vowels. 븾 combines initial ᄇ, vowel ᅴ, and final ᆽ. These parts are also commonly displayed as ㅂ, ㅢ, and ㅈ. Together they write a Korean syllable; the word it appears in supplies the meaning.
How did Hangul syllable blocks begin?
Hangul was designed to write Korean speech directly.
The Annals of King Sejong, a royal chronicle, records the script in 1443. The explanatory book Hunminjeongeum was published in 1446; that was also the script's original name. Korean writing had relied on Chinese characters, which did not fit Korean speech well, so Hangul arranged consonants and vowels into syllable blocks.
Neutral as a Korean writing character; the block itself adds no emotional tone.
