What 띻 means
ㄸ is the initial consonant, ㅣ the vowel, and ㅎ the final consonant. A Korean IME, or input method editor, is keyboard software that groups them into one block. That is Hangul composition.
Hangul was devised to write Korean speech with an alphabet alongside Chinese-character writing. Its creation was completed in 1443 and promulgated in 1446; these dates belong to Hangul, not this exact block.
