What 띰 means
Press Shift+E, L, then A in Korean input.
On the standard Korean two-set (Dubeolsik) keyboard, Shift+E enters tense consonant ㄸ, L enters vowel ㅣ, and A enters final consonant ㅁ; Korean input software combines them as 띰. If the parts remain separate, check that Korean input is active.
Fonts may draw the Hangul syllable block differently, but the text remains 띰.
What does 띰 mean in Korean?
띰 is a Korean syllable whose meaning depends on its sentence.
Modern Korean uses 띰 as the noun form of 띠다, a verb meaning “to have or show a quality.” The exact sense comes from the surrounding sentence.
An older record gives 띰 a different role: the 1448 Dongguk Jeongun, a Korean dictionary of Chinese-character pronunciations, records it as a reading for several Chinese characters. Hangul was designed to let people write Korean without relying on Chinese-character literacy.
In Korean writing, 띰 functions as a grammatical word form; context supplies its meaning.
A lone 띰 does not reliably signal a mood; read it with the surrounding Korean words.

1Why does 띰 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
