What 뒁 means
On its own, it has no reliable reading; use the surrounding Korean.
A 1980 transcript of a Jeju Korean oral story records 뒁 in a form glossed as 두고, “leave/put and…” This documents a Jeju dialect form, not a general meaning for the syllable.
This block is built from Hangul letters: ㄷ begins it, ㅝ is its vowel, and ㅇ closes it. A Korean input method forms ㅝ from ㅜ followed by ㅓ. Hangul was devised in 1443 and explained in 1446 as a way to write Korean. Older traditions called Idu (이두), Gugyeol (구결), and Hyangchal (향찰) used Chinese characters to write Korean, but are not visual ancestors of this block.
