What 뎬 means
It is one syllable; its Korean word supplies the meaning. 뎬 combines three Hangul letter units (jamo): ᄃ ᅨ ᆫ.
Hangul was created in 1443 and explained in 1446, opening Korean writing beyond Chinese-character methods. Earlier practices—Idu, Gugyeol, and Hyangchal—used Chinese characters to write Korean.
Hangul became Korea's national writing system in 1894, then lost that status after Japanese rule began in 1910.
What does it mean when someone sends 뎬?
Check the source. In a 2016 Mandarin pronunciation table, 店 (“shop”) appears as 뎬: a Korean sound guide, not a message reaction.
