What 듗 means
On a Korean 2-set keyboard, press e, then b, then c. With the Korean input method (IME) set to the 2-set layout (두벌식), those keys enter ㄷ, ㅠ, and ㅊ; the IME combines them into 듗. The Latin letters e-b-c on an ordinary English layout will not compose a Korean syllable.
What does 듗 mean?
It is one Hangul syllable block built from three jamo. Hangul is the Korean alphabet; its letters, called jamo, combine into syllable blocks. Here ㄷ is the initial consonant, ㅠ the vowel, and ㅊ the final consonant. At the end of a syllable, final ㅊ has the same clipped ending as ㄷ; 받침 is the consonant that closes the block.
Hangul was made to let Korean speakers write their language without relying only on Chinese characters, using a system intended to be easier to learn. The dates 1443 and 1446 mark its creation and its explanatory publication; they belong to Hangul’s history, not to this individual block.
As of 2026-09-13, no separate word meaning or chat convention is established for this exact block.
Neutral as Hangul text; its role depends on the Korean word or name that contains it.
