What 듇 means
It has no fixed standalone meaning; it is a Hangul syllable block. Hangul is the Korean writing system, and it groups letters into syllable blocks. The parts of 듇 are ᄃ (starting consonant), ᅲ (vowel), and ᆮ (ending consonant); 듇 shows them separately. In Korean input mode, ㄷ ㅠ ㄷ joins into 듇. Fonts can draw the parts differently without changing the character.
Hangul’s first recorded appearance dates to 1443; Hunminjeongeum, a book explaining the script published in 1446, presents it as a way to write Korean more directly than with Chinese characters. Earlier systems called Idu, Gugyeol, and Hyangchal adapted Chinese characters to write Korean. Hangul was adopted for official use in Korea in 1894 and lost that status under Japanese rule in 1910.

fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
