What 깿 means
It spells one syllable inside a Korean word.
The letters that make up 깿 are initial consonant ㄲ, vowel ㅐ, and final consonant ㅊ. The surrounding Korean word supplies its lexical meaning.
Unicode can store a Hangul syllable as one precomposed block or as a canonically equivalent sequence of conjoining jamo, the basic Korean letters. Normalization can change the stored sequence while preserving the same text.
Why was Hangul created?
Hangul was designed to write Korean speech and teach it. The Hangul script's earliest record is from 1443. The Hunminjeongeum manuscript, a guide explaining the new alphabet, appeared in 1446.
The name Hangeul gained use by the early 1910s, after earlier names such as eonmun and gukmun.
