What 꾒 means
꾒 is one syllable block, not a word meaning by itself.
Its three Hangul jamo (building-block letters) are initial ᄁ, vowel ᅬ, and final cluster ᆹ. Unicode’s Latin-form label “Ggoebs” describes their arrangement; it is not a translation. In Korean text, the surrounding word supplies the meaning.
Hangul, Korea’s writing system, was created in 1443 and explained in 1446 to make writing easier to learn and use. It later became standardized; modern Korean spelling draws on a 1933 draft. 꾒 follows Hangul’s syllable-block logic.
How do I type 꾒?
Enter the three conjoining jamo, then normalize them to NFC.
Use ᄁ ᅬ ᆹ as the initial, vowel, and final jamo, then apply NFC (Normalization Form C) to form 꾒. If an editor leaves them separate, NFC can compose the sequence.
Compatibility jamo such as ㄲ, ㅚ, and ㅄ are spacing letters; they do not compose like the conjoining forms. For HTML, use 꾒. In a JavaScript string, use \uAF92.
Why does 꾒 look different?
Fonts arrange the syllable’s parts differently.
Hangul syllable blocks occupy a square cell, but each font chooses the components’ placement, shape, and size. A rare block can therefore look unfamiliar in another typeface; its jamo structure is a steadier guide than a screenshot.
As of 2026-09-13, 꾒 had no established standalone chat meaning. If someone sends it alone, ask for context; nearby Korean text may show which word it belongs to.
Technical or linguistic in reference material; alone in a message, it needs context.
A lone 꾒 gives too little context for a confident guess.

1Why did 꾒 split into jamo?
The editor is showing the underlying sequence 꾒 instead of the composed block. NFC recomposes these conjoining jamo into 꾒.
