What 꾪 means
It contributes a Korean syllable; its word supplies the meaning.
꾪 combines three Hangul jamo: ᄁ is the starting consonant, ᅭ the vowel, and ᆵ the final consonant cluster. Together they form one syllable block, not a complete word.
Hangul’s syllable-block design was devised under King Sejong in the Joseon kingdom in 1443; a guide to the new letters, Hunminjeongeum (“Correct Sounds for the Instruction of the People”), appeared in 1446 so people could write Korean directly. The modern Hangul syllable set follows the Johab inventory, a standardized set of syllables in Korea’s KS C 5601-1992 character standard; Unicode represents each as a ready-made block or as its jamo sequence.
How do I type 꾪?
A Korean 2-set IME can compose it from its jamo.
Switch to Korean input. On the standard Korean 2-set keyboard layout, press ShiftR, Y, F, V to enter ㄲ, ㅛ, ㄹ, ㅍ; the input method joins the last two as the final cluster ㄿ.
