What 헁 means
Use 2-set input: press g, Shift+o, then d. With Korean keyboard input active, those keys produce ㅎ, ㅒ and ㅇ; the input method editor joins them as 헁. If your layout differs, select Korean input in your device settings.
What does 헁 mean?
It is one Hangul syllable, built from three Korean letter parts. Jamo are the reusable letters that spell Korean: ㅎ starts this syllable, ㅒ supplies its vowel, and ㅇ closes it.
Hangul was designed in 1443, and its explanatory book, Hunminjeongeum, was published in 1446. The writing system uses reusable letters to spell Korean speech; 헁 is one syllable assembled from them.
Unicode can store this spelling as one precomposed block or as the decomposed sequence 헁. A text inspector may reveal the three conjoining jamo; it is still the same syllable. If it arrives alone, ask what the sender meant—the block gives you its spelling, not their intent.

1Why does 헁 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
