What 즊 means
On a standard Korean 2-set keyboard, press W, M, then ShiftR.
These keys enter the Hangul jamo ㅈ, ㅡ, and ㄲ; the Korean IME joins them into 즊. Typing jeugg on an English keyboard will not compose the syllable.
Switch the input mode to Korean first. On phones, the key positions depend on the selected Korean layout.
What does 즊 mean?
A lone syllable does not identify the full word or message.
즊 is one Korean syllable, not a complete translation; a Korean word or phrase supplies its meaning. If it arrives alone, you need context to know what the sender means.
Before Hangul, Korean writing also used Chinese characters and adapted systems such as idu and hyangchal to represent Korean words and grammar. Hangul was designed to represent Korean speech more directly. Its creation is associated with 1443, and an explanatory book titled 훈민정음 appeared in 1446. 즊 is a syllable built within this writing system, not a separately invented sign.
Which Hangul jamo make up 즊?
It combines three Hangul letters in one block.
Hangul letters are called jamo. In the decomposed sequence 즊, ᄌ begins the syllable, ᅳ is the vowel, and ᆩ is the final consonant, called 받침 in Korean. Keyboard labels show the same parts as ㅈ, ㅡ, and ㄲ.
Unicode can represent the same syllable as the precomposed block 즊 or the sequence 즊; text normalization can switch between them without changing the intended syllable. A font or app without Hangul shaping support may show separate jamo or a box. That changes the display, not the intended syllable.
