What 졼 means
Switch to a Korean IME and enter the parts in order.
A Korean input method editor (IME) builds syllable blocks as you type. For 졼, enter initial consonant ㅈ, vowel ㅗ, then ㄹ and ㅅ for the final cluster; if they stay separate, the IME is not composing Hangul.
What does 졼 mean?
졼 is one Korean syllable block.
Its familiar isolated letter forms ㅈ, ㅗ and ㄽ stand for an initial consonant, a vowel and a final consonant cluster (ㄹ ㅅ). Unicode's full decomposition uses ᄌ ᅩ ᆳ, the joined Hangul letter forms for those same parts.
Hangul's letters were created in 1443. The book Hunminjeongeum, published in 1446, explained the Korean writing system, including how an initial consonant, vowel and final consonant form a syllable. 졼 follows that structure.
What if someone sends 졼 alone?
Ask what Korean word it belongs to.
A lone block gives you a syllable, not a reliable word-level translation. Read it with the surrounding Korean text; without that context, ask what word the sender meant.
Treat it as a Korean text syllable; the words around it determine the message.
If it arrives alone, ask what word it belongs to before inferring tone.
