What 쟫 means
Its name explains its build, not a word gloss.
A Hangul syllable block is a square grouping of letters called jamo. 쟫 combines ㅈ, ㅒ, and final ㄷ; the Unicode name “jyaed” labels that sequence, not the meaning of a word.
Hangul’s early records are dated to 1443 and 1446: the first marks its creation, and the 1446 Hunminjeongeum manuscript explains the new writing system. Hangul was designed to make Korean writing more accessible than relying on Chinese characters alone.
What if someone sends 쟫 by itself?
Ask what Korean word or context they meant.
Inside a Korean word, read the whole word. When a message contains only 쟫, there are no neighboring blocks to interpret, so ask for context rather than guessing a tone.

It can. Korean fonts place and size the component shapes differently inside the syllable block; the styling changes, but the character remains the same.
