What 쟥 means
It labels a recipe, not a word meaning. Unicode’s “Jyaeg” label names the parts: initial consonant ᄌ, vowel ᅤ, and final consonant ᆨ. These jamo (Hangul letter parts) form one block. Hangul was devised in 1443 for easier Korean writing; its explanatory book Hunminjeongeum appeared in 1446. The modern syllable inventory follows South Korea’s 1992 KS C 5601 standard, including valid blocks that are not everyday words.
