What 콛 means
It is a Hangul syllable, not a complete Korean word by itself.
Read its parts in order as an initial consonant ㅋ, a vowel ㅗ, and a final consonant ㄷ. Hangul is alphabetic: its letters are grouped into one syllable block. So 콛 can represent a Korean syllable, but it is not itself a complete Korean word with a fixed definition; the full word or name supplies the meaning.
Earlier Korean writing often used Chinese characters. Hangul was developed under King Sejong as a system people could learn to read and write; its foundational guide, 훈민정음, was proclaimed in 1446. Hangul’s letters do not descend directly from Chinese characters. One proposed influence is Phags-pa, a square script based on Tibetan writing and proclaimed in 1269 for the Mongol empire; that connection is not settled.
On its own, 콛 has no fixed word meaning or inherent tone; the surrounding Korean text supplies both.
