What 쾓 means
Its role comes from the Korean word that contains it.
Hangul builds syllable blocks from jamo, the script's individual letters. 쾓 combines ㅋ, ㅙ and ㄷ: an opening consonant, a vowel, and a closing consonant. A Korean input method groups them into one block.
Hangul was created to write Korean speech. Its creation is recorded in 1443; in 1446, Hunminjeongeum, a book explaining the script, appeared.
